The company owns and operates 29 manufacturing facilities in Malaysia, Thailand, China and marketing offices in Malaysia, United States and Germany.[1] The company was founded in Malaysia in 1991 by Tan Sri Dr Lim Wee Chai, as a modest business venture of 1 factory, 3 production lines and 100 staff. Top Glove has since emerged as the world's largest rubber glove manufacturer commanding 25% of the world market share. With its eye on the next level of success, Top Glove now aspires to increase its global market share to 30% by 2020. Top Glove’s paid up capital stood at RM625.6 million as of 13 March 2017 while its market capitalisation was RM6.5 billion as at 16 March 2017.
